Researchers who studied dieters for 6 months found that those who had 3 servings of dairy high in calcium lost more belly fat than those who went without the dairy products in their diet.

Those same researchers also found that taking calcium supplements does not help you to lose weight as much as eating or drinking dairy products which are high in protein and other nutrients.

The protein in milk builds muscle while you lose fat. Milk protein is 4 parts whey and 1 part casein. Both of these proteins are considered high-quality proteins, and both are complete proteins.

Whey is a fast protein, because it is digested so fast into the basic building blocks of protein your body uses–amino acids. So it is ideal to replace protein in the body (as well as other nutrients needed) after vigorous exercise.

Casein is broken down slowly by your body. But that means it gives you a “slow and steady” supply of protein over a longer period of time, an important balance of the faster whey protein.

There is a debate about whether it is healthier to drink skim or whole milk. Whole milk is natural (the way God made it) and is considered by some health food experts to be the healthier of the two kinds of milk.

Some people are of the notion that since pizzas are full of vegetables and meats and cheese, they can be considered health food. But the truth is, that one slice of pizza carries more calories than a low calories sandwich and lets assume you don’t stop at that one slice – it can really be the source of a lot of extra calories and end up being unhealthy! But there are ways you can enjoy a pizza and still be safe.

The best part about a pizza perhaps, is the amount of tomato sauce that is used. Tomatoes are a great source of anti oxidants and are incredibly useful anti sunburn and anti aging produce. But the actual culprits in pizza are the fats used in the dough preparation, the refined flour base and the amount of cheese used as toppings. So how is it possible that you can still eat pizza and remain healthy?

Well fact of the situation is that foods like potato chips, pizza, cheesecakes and apple-pies have become such a tradition, that it is difficult to let them go all together for most people. So what you can do is treat yourself to a slice or two once in a while if you have the urge.

But don’t feel guilty about it. Just because you had that pizza! You can workout and take care of the food you eat over the next couple of days and pretty much cancel out that pizza. Its okay to let yourself have fun but make sure its only once in a while!

Another way to counter a pizza craving is to make one at home.

Cooking at home not only burns calories, but also makes you less likely to eat too much. This is because eating is more about the scents of food, and while cooking that part of your consciousness is satiated! So you will find that you are eating lesser of anything you cook yourself. Another benefit with cooking yourself is that you can keep a track of what goes in.

You can use healthier substitutes like whole-meal wheat instead of the refined variety which is harmful. Instead of regular cheeses, you can use a low fat variety and restrict oil use in the preparation. You can load up on veggies as much as you want and have a healthier variety of pizza!

But if you do end up eating from outside, and cant cook at home for some reason, you can always be a little particular about what you are having. A thin and crispy pizza is also lesser in calories than a deep pan one and loading up on veggies more than meat will also be a healthier alternative.

Foods that are natural consist of raw fruits and vegetables that contain no fertilizers or pesticides when grown. It is no secret how to become healthy, eat healthy foods its that simple but yet people want to search for the “next big thing” when it comes to diets.

When it comes to organic and natural foods you must make the transition slowly, eating too much natural foods too quickly can result in sickness. I know because I started eating a more natural diet and the first few days I didn’t feel well. It was like my body didn’t know how to respond to the healthy foods my body was absorbing. But after the initial “sickness” I was beginning to feel much better and had more energy I had in a very long time.

It may not be your favorite drink but raw milk is considered one of the best natural drinks you can take. What I also enjoy is sushi which can become addicting and you want more of it, but too much might make you sick. Instead of eating a bag chips for a snack try eating a piece of organic fruit or vegetable and you will see the improvements in your health in no time. Not once have I regretted ever taking natural healthy foods and I don’t think I ever will.
